Types of Dress Code

  1. Casual Attire

Casual Attire is acceptable for remote work or on designated days like “Funl Fridays” as long as it remains professional. 

Acceptable items include:

  • Clean jeans
  • Polos
  • Casual shoes

Sweatpants, exercise wear, and graphic t-shirts with inappropriate content are a definite no-no.

For roles that involve machinery or hazardous environments, employees are expected to wear the necessary uniforms and safety gear, such as flame-resistant clothing or other protective equipment. 

Loose clothing, untucked shirts, and accessories (e.g., hats or scarves) are prohibited, keeping safety concerns in mind.

    • Shirts and tops like button-downs, blouses, polos, turtlenecks, and sweaters. A blazer or tailored jacket adds a polished touch.
    • Clean, hole-free jeans may be acceptable on designated “Casual Fridays” or approved days.
  • Footwear:
    • Comfortable shoes like loafers, flats, dress shoes, or low-heeled boots.
    • Safety footwear, such as steel-toe boots, should be worn as required by your role.
  • Accessories:
    • Simple accessories like stud earrings or minimal jewelry.
    • For safety reasons, avoid dangling jewelry, particularly in areas with equipment.
  • Hair and grooming:
    • Hair should be clean and tidy. Long hair must be tied back in areas with machinery.
    • Facial hair should be neatly groomed and compliant with safety requirements.

What’s Not Okay?
To maintain professionalism, we avoid:

  • Athletic or gym wear (leggings, sweatpants, tank tops) unless part of an approved event or uniform.
  • Clothing that is too revealing (crop tops, halter tops, items exposing midriffs or backs).
  • Flip-flops, sandals, or overly casual sneakers unless explicitly permitted.
  • Shirts or attire with offensive language, slogans, or graphics.

 

Uniforms (If Applicable)
For roles that demand uniforms, please wear them as provided. Uniforms should be neat and clean, in good condition, and paired with any (if) required identification badges. For any adjustments, please contact your manager for approval in advance.

Flexibility and Special Days

We totally get that some days call for a relaxed approach—occasions like “casual Fridays” or the time during the end-of-the-year festivities, etc. You can dress casually on these occasions, but keep your appearance neat and appropriate nonetheless.
