This sweet little boy and his mama are hg survivors, and very close to my heart!  I was so honored to be able to meet this sweet little guy and photograph him...even though he wasn't too fond of me or the camera :)

Brandon ♥ Nykki

I reconnected with Nykki recently.  We'd gone to church together years ago, and she was the Matron of Honor at a wedding I recently photographed.  Nykki is one of the sweetest people you'd ever meet, so I was elated when she asked me to take some photos of her and her husband. I had such a blast doing their photos, and I loved the way Brandon looked at her.  Love is such a beautiful emotion to capture.

When I was pregnant with my little one, I suffered from a terrible pregnancy-related disease called hyperemesis gravidarum.  I met the lovely Sarah because she too has hg.  I was so blessed to be able to photograph her and her awesome husband today.  I was also thankful that she was feeling up to it, as hg makes a lot of things impossible, or miserable.  I am so happy for Sarah and Manny.  Not only is their little one almost here, but her fight with hg will be over upon his arrival!  Thank you, Sarah, for being such an amazing, strong woman, and for allowing me the privilege of calling you friend ♥
